A Spelling Problem

Well, it's astonishing to see how many different spellings the word naquadah has.

Well, I'm used to Naquadah, but sometimes I see Naquaada, Naquedah, Naqua'da, Naq'Wada.

Er... anything official about that ?

If you count it "official" there is a spelling listed in either "Within the Serpent's Grasp" or "In the Serpent's Lair" when looking at a view screen about the new naquadah enhanced missiles.

However, this is spelt differently from the spelling of Naq. used in the subtitles for the Region2 DVDs of SG-1 which could also be considered an "official" spelling.

I seem to recall that the "official" website also used a different spelling, but that may not be true.

I also report the spelling "Naquadriah".

Well, I think I'll be ok with Naquadah. That's fine.

I think naquadriah is a different mineral. Though it may appear after Series5Episode4 which I have seen...

'Nequadria' is a different material that is discussed in Season 5, episode 'Meridian'. Since there are folks here who have not yet seen S5, let's not discuss too much about it.
