Jenny Calendar - Robia La Morte - she was sent by her people to Sunnydale to make sure Angle and Buffy stayed away from each other. Did and excellent job too, don't you think? </sarcasm>

Honestly, if she had been honest with Buffy and Giles and the gang from the beginning, well, Season 2 would have been a lot different, and probably a bit boring, but that's not the point. If she had told them, they might have prevented the return of Angelus.

On a lighter note, she was a lovely character and fell in love with Giles. The two of them were so funny together. :)

Yeah I liked Jenny..I wish that had not killed her off..but then as you said there would have been no story...

I liked her and Giles together they were funny!

yeah - not the same story if Jenny doesn't die -

and I haven't figured out a way for the Angelus story to work if she doesn't ---

She was an interesting character - and they could have done more with her - but they didn't -- and she's kinda gone ---

you notice how no one even mentions her tho? why do they do that??

It's the same as Jessy. Once they're dead everyone tend to forget about them. I think Joyce is the only one to have any amount of talking about her after she died. I think (I way be remember a fic...I can never tell) That Jenny might have been talked about once or twice. But not ofen.

yeah - the one thing you should never do on Buffy as a former 'major' character - die - if you do - no one will remember you and no one will mention your name again --

Joyce is talked about - but that was Buffy's mom -

Forrest - no one mentions him -
Jesse - poor kid - was Xander's best friend - not a word since ep 2
Jenny - well, she was used as the form for the '1st evil' but that's about it -

only person other than Joyce mentioned after death is Prof Walsh

They did mention her for quite a while after her death - if you remember Giles and Angel never really got on very well again (if you can call it that in the first place) after he was Angel again - because if what had happened.

Side note - if anyone has read this (last?) week's Entertainment Weekly, there is an interview with Joss and the interviewer keeps going on at him to bring back Miss Calender (she's HOT! apparently ;) ).

Jenny was cool. she should have lived longer. there are so many episodes that i watch and say "that would have been better if Jenny was in it. she would fit really well into this scene."
i miss her...she shouldn't have died...but i guess i don't always get my way...

I totally agree with you!:( I miss her so bad! And she was sooo cool!
Hoo, in "Restless" we saw Giles with Olivia right? But it was supposed to be Jenny!!! Robia was indisposed! :( so Joss thought Olivia would be great...but I don't love her!

Hooo Tabitha, no I didn't. Can you made a summary of the interview please?

Just thought i'd mention the obvious talked about dead people...................
Angel, when Buffy stabbed him and sent him through the porthole to hell.
Buffy, when Willow brought her back.
But then again, they weren't dead for long so I doubt they really count!
Although the Master was talked about a bit and he died a couple of times!

And Willow didn't exactly forget about Tara in Season Seven  . Perhaps no one talked about Jenny much after Season Three because Giles decided to let go of her. He did briefly have a girlfriend in Season Four, after all. I'm re-watching Season Two right now and re-realizing how cute Giles and Jenny were together :) (only through Episode Four right now).

You`re right. Even though Joyce was talked about she would have been realistickly talked about and mourned more after her eath because she was Buffy`s mother. As you said, Jesse was one of Xander`s best friends for years, he wasn`t even sad after that episode. And what about Kendra? None of them even cared that she died and was only briefly mentioned once by Cordelia in the third Season, it was like she had never exsited like Jesse after there deaths! And Jenny,I think that Willow, Buffy and Giles would have mourned her death more. Buffy wasn`t even angry that Angel had killed Jenny. All she ever cared baout was getting him back even though he had killed alot more people after Jenny`s death and a school girl Buffy knew!
