I voted for Boromir as well. I guess I like the more flawed characters who in the end find a way to redeem themselves, although they would never see that in themselves. Another flawed character I like is Colonel Tigh from the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica for the same reasons, I guess I just go for the underdog. All the actors/characters in the LotR movies did such a fine job in my eyes, I don't know for the life of me why people diss Elijah Wood's performance so much. While his characters reasons seemed less believable to me when at the end after all he had been through to embrace the ring like that seems...not well contrived, I still like him as an actor very much. Boromir at least let his mind think he could use it to 'save' his people from the darkness, while Frodo was just, nah, I think I'll keep it after it has been punishing me for these many months. I really need to read those books.
