New Season on Channel 4

The new season of Angel is finally starting on terrestrial TV over here in the UK. It starts on Saturday 8th June at 10.30pm, which is way better than its last slot that C4 gave it, which was something like 1am on a Tuesday or something stupid like that lol.

Yeh, the old timeslot really sucked. It wouldn't even have been so bad if it were on a weekend night.

Anyway, do you know which season this is Sammy? I don't know if C4 have screened season two yet? But season three has finished in the US and on Sky One (I think) already.
 
Well, the last season i remember season on Channel 4 was season 1 cos it had Doyle in it, so it should be S2 unless i missed it cos C4 put it in another rubbish slot and i missed it completely?

Ok, i checked and even tho they havent yet created a site for Angel on C4 (shame on them!) they do have tv listings for the week. And i can now confirm that it is the second season they're showing and not the third. Idiots. They didnt even repeat season 1 which is the normal thing to do for popular series' so they've obviously underestimated Angel's popularity or something :rolleyes:

Yep season two of Angel is coming to the tv...great but I do have all of that season on video...but i might watch anyway as I think is on after Big Brother so I will more then likely end up watching it....;)
 
Maybe the season will get a ratings boost this year if it follows BB.

I never understood why C4 didn't promote it more - mind you it doesn't really promote SG1 either...
 
Yeah but this time around they have put more adverts on for it...its on all the time...so they are trying a little harder! ;)
 
I cant wait! All i need now is for England to win tomorrow and my week will be bliss (cos Roswell started again tonight)! Wahoo!

i watched it on saturday..its sooo cool, im glad its back on channel 4..give me something to look forward to now that roswell isnt on :(
 
Roswell is on, oh but you might not have Sky One, bummer :( but yeah the Angel ep was fab and how i laughed (and cringed) when Angel sang! Wesley and Angel are as fine as ever, as is Gunn :D its all good :D

So, how are you guys enjoying season two of Angel? I have just had an odd thought - the entire season 2 was available on dvd and video long before channel four showed it! And half of season three, as well!

I hope you are loving it - Season three (no spoilers!) has quite a different 'spin', but Season two was my fave so far.

We are only a couple eps into it but so far its good :) i dont really have any complaints as yet :D

Its such a shame that British terrestrial tv gets shows so long after everybody else, as by the time Channel 4 gets S2 Angel for example, S3 is over and done with in the States! I had this problem with the X-Files, i love talking about it online with my American friends, so instead of her waiting for me to see the eps she just recorded them and sent them over! So i got to see S8 before anyone else in the UK which was pretty cool :)

I guess in a perfect world the show would air at the same time everywhere, but thats never gonna happen now is it :lol::laugh::laugh2:

Do you know much about what happens in season two and three? Or are you avoiding all spoilers like crazy?

Nope, i think this is the only show that i'm not avoiding spoilers for (but for Buffy S6 upto Hell's Bell's, XFiles S9, Farscape S4 and Stargate S6 i am spoiler free, for the most part :D).

I know about
Fred, Gunn + Fred, Cordy + Angel's love thing-ish, her floaty ascension thing, and Angel's son.

Basically i've seen the S3 finale but havent seen any other S3 eps but i'm not spoiler-free for those, or S2.

Was that confusing? :lol:

Hope everyone is enjoying Season 2 of Angel on Channel 4. Has it been cut at all? Wouldn't have thought they need to as being shown so late. Isn't Season 2 great?????????

Yah season 2 is pretty cool :D i dont know if its been cut but i cant imagine it has been cos as you say its on at 10.30 :)
