gazelles
OK everyone, if you're an Amanda Tapping fan then let's get to work. If you know the story of the turtle and the gazelle then you can skip this section. If not, read on. At the first con Amanda and Teryl were on stage together during a panel. They told us they have nicknames on set of Teryl's being turtle and Amanda's being gazelle. Basically in one episode Teryl got to go on a mission and had this huge backpack on and the large round hat, all in mission green. Well, everyone said she looked like a turtle cause she's so small and short and she just looked like a turtle. So, Amanda wondered what animal she would be, Teryl thought a second and said, "a gazelle" and that's how it all began.
So, every con since then Teryl's gotten all kinds of turtle gifts but Amanda's been left out of the gazelle stuff because she wasn't scheduled to come to the last con but showed up as a surprise. So, I'm guessing no one was prepared to give her any gifts. Well, since the first con I've been looking for gazelles in anything, stuffed animals, statues, anything, with no luck. I finally found one online, a cool statue of a gazelle. I quickly snatched it up and recently was able to give it to her and she was very touched. She said she's been looking for them too and can't find them anywhere. Sooooooooooooooo, I think we need to go on a mission and find her as many gazelle things as possible.
