So far we've had 'Thunderbirds', 'Stingray' & 'Captain Scarlet' on D.V.D & video & now there's plans to release 'Joe 90' aswell & possibly others aswell :rolly2:

I saw it in Woolworths yesterday, so it must have been out some time.

I just checked Amazon UK. Two boxed sets 'series 1' £43.99 and 'Vol 5-8' £43.99.

I can't find any other series listed. Searches for Gerry Anderson at Amazon just bring up Pamela Anderson in bikini tops.

Thunderbirds is currently airing on one of the channels here, but they seem to be stuck in a continuous loop, as they have played the whole series three times in a row!

Another channel just finished showing Stingray and Joe 90, but I never liked Joe 90 - too much of a Wesley Crusher type I guess! :dead:

Hehe, thought that was it, I just wanted to be sure. :)

It is on TV3, a private company now owned by a Canadian company. The other series were on Prime TV, which is another private channel, but this one is Australian owned - we New Zealanders don't own much of our TV network anymore! :(

Don't be too upset, the UK got all the Star Trek series long before we did, and I bet you have had other shows that we have never had - that's the problem with living in a country of only 4 million people, the sci-fi audience just isn't big enough for the channels to care about! :(

Indeed, however we only had to wait about three months longer than you guys to see Enterprise, that's never happened before. But that Prime outfit I told you about wanted to make a good impression and so they snatched the series away from the big networks and played it as soon as they could. :)

Any way, back to the topic

There's rumours flying about of plans to release as many of his series as possible on video & D.V.D when ever possible

I remember that the videos of UFO and Space1999 used to be available in the UK back in the mid '90's, as a friend of mine got some sent out.

Unfortunately the 'fashions' worn in UFO are rather embarrassing when you see them now - very 'Seventies'! :dead:
