Out of all the series created by the Andersons, which would you like to see more new episodes of and why?

I would most like to see more episodes of UFO. The reason for this is that I would like to know more about the aliens, their planet and the whole story about how and why they decided to target Earth - is what the aliens are doing a military operation, that their general population is unaware of, or does the whole world know what is going on and fully support the idea. I would also like to learn more about the aliens' technology, in particular how they manage to cross interstellar distances. It would also be interesting to see a conclusion to the saga, whether it be that the Earth and the aliens come to some kind of arrangement, or that one side emerges victorious over the other.

Don't think I'd like them to be revisited as such, inevitably they would be 'Modernised' (cheapened).

To start they would all become cartoons (they tried it with Thunderbirds, Thunderbird 2379 or something like that).

Much of the surprisingly sophisticated story would disappear, because they are too complicated for youngsters to understand.

In short they would become just like all the other bland children's pap.

Part of their appeal was that the stories never repeated. Undoubtedly part of this was because the series themselves were fairly short.

I should think more episodes of 'Thunderbirds', 'Stingray' & 'Captain Scarlet' for me as the series just ended too quickly

I think that would be true for the marionation shows, but I think UFO and Space1999 would benefit from a new series - you just have to look at the differences between Star Trek Original and Next Generation to see what can be achieved with modern techniques.

That's a good point there Techno

He did have plans to carry on 'Captain Scarlet' & 'Thunderbirds' any way

I think that may have been the same for Space Precinct but their backers went bust half way through the season. you can guess that i'd like to see more new eps of that!

You're lucky you've seen the ones there already are, because they haven't shown any episodes of 'Space Precinct' in New Zealand. :(

Is it me or did a lot of his shows have the potnetial to carry on for longer than what they orginally did?

yeah i think you're right, a lot of them were cut off when they could have gone on to become bigger and better

yep! it would have been interesting to see how the Jack/Jane relationship developed in Space Precinct (ok i'll admit, i'm obsessed with that show!!)

I don't think I've ever seen that! only a couple of eps if I have! i know my cousin has a captain scarlet outfit though!

Or Space:1999, i'm not sure that that had a proper conclusion either, i could be wrong though.

that keeps coming back and back, my little cousin loves that and Captain Scarlet
