Novelization of "The Abyss"
Did anyone ever read this?
It was one of those books that I re-read time and again. Rather than being written after or duing production of the movie it was related to, like most novelizations, Orson Scott Card was heavily involved in the script development.
I haven't read many novelizations - they always seemed like a bit of a con to me, but this one was good, and added a lot of character detail that the actors themselves used in their protrayal of the roles.
