Stargate SG-1's Michael Shanks is among the first five astronauts on Mars in this beautifully shot telefilm that also stars Christine Elise (Body Snatchers, TV's Beverly Hills, 90210)) and Peter Outerbridge (Mission to Mars, The Pretender 2001, TV's Millennium). Not all will survive as the mission falls prey to corporate greed, personal problems, inferior equipment and the bizarre surprises Mars offers.

Erm...to be honest, I thought the movie was...bad.
I only watched it because Michael was in it and as much as I'd like to I can't watch it again. It's one of the movies where you know exactly what's going to happen.
But I guess everyone should decide for themselves.

I've seen "Escape From Mars" a couple of times (yeah, mostly to watch MS) Not a really great film, IMHO -- very predictable. But I did enjoy MS's tantrum scene. So rare that he gets to show some temper

And yes, for reasons that surpass even my understanding I did make a VHS tape of it.
