Has anyone read any of his stuff? I've only read the Age of Misrule series, but I really liked it. It's kind of dark, and is a rather interesting look at the old mythology of Britain, psychology and I just love the whole notion that the age of technology and today's society might fail and we'd return to the dark ages.
It was really very interesting, and a different read to the general fantasy I have read. Kind of sardonic too. I love wry humour :D

Yes, I need people to talk to about the ending! He just throws in this last half page and it spins you out. I love it :D
How come hardly any of you have heard of this guy? He's a UK author! That's where I got half my collection!

I've heard of this author and have been looking for info about him, so will be watching this thread with interest :)

As soon as I see a book in the shelves out here I will buy it. I'm quite conscientious about following up these leads.

Have you read Ian R MacLeod's The Light Ages? Something of your description seemed a little remniscent of that work and I wondered if that was a fair conclusion to make.
