Welcome to the brand-spankin' new "Forever Knight" mini-forum! Complete with a place to house all your "Forever Knight" fanfic!

I've only seen a couple eps, but looks like I have a wonderful excuse for trying to watch more - I'm modding this section! It's not that I never wanted to watch the show, I just had so many others that I had latched onto that I didn't have time to grab this one too - however, will be locating air times and such and throwing a tape in the VCR!

So - don't be shy - start lots of threads and fill everyone in on all the scoops and insights into all the characters!

Can someone give me an overview of the show? I've never had a chance to see an episode but it looks good.

Well- the bare bones of the series is --


A vampire, 800 yrs old, who decided he didn't care much for the killing aspect and is trying to regain his humanity and now works as a cop for Metro PD (who knows what the city's name is, if it has one).


Beyond that - grab EmilyH or one of the others - they know a lot more than I do - I'm still catching up --

The city is Toronto. They do say that in at least one first season ep. The show takes place in the early 90's. Nick was a crusader who, after being seduced by the beautiful, raven-haired vampiress Janette, was brought across by LaCroix, an ancient vampire who had been brought across during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. This will come out during season 3.

Nick falls in love with Natalie Lambert, the coroner, who is trying to help him regain his humanity. Unfortunately, because of a fight that happened centuries ago and a threat made by LC, Nick cannot admit his love for Nat, or she will be in danger. This will be revealed in a later ep -- Be My Valentine, I think. However, Nick apparently still has some feelings for Janette. In one of the early eps, I forget which, it's said they were together (I guess the vamp equivalent of being married) for nearly a century.
