I got the idea from another films related thread so start this one off, so here it is!

Basically, it's too do with reviewing films & other members are more than welcome to review films aswell as me!

I got the idea as since I work in a video shop that it would be a good idea for me to start one off

In regards to it, I'll review a NEW film once a week & aslo members are allowed to review films that they've seen aswell

So here is my 1st review for the film '13 Ghosts', to give you a brief out line of what the film's about it's to do with a ghost collector who gets killed hunting for a ghost & his family who are living in smaller housing after their house got burnt down, get left a big house by their dead uncle that's powered by the ghosts that he's caught during his life time & they're not happy being caught & so start killing every body in the house off after being trapped in by the so called electric board man going down to the basement to collect the money that he was owed

Very scarey & bloody in places, good film & SHOULDN'T be watched by ANY ONE who DOESN'T like horror films or gets scared easily

Hey guys... Just an ickle suggestion, but if you are going to review movies that we have forums for in the films section, do you fancy popping over there and drumming up some conversation too?

In a review, try and give the reader an idea of what the movie is about, maybe draw any comparisons to other movies that you think appropriate, and don't forget to tell us what you thought.

hey sweet review. except you should actually do the, er, REVIEW instead of the plot i guess. some tips: describe the acting, directing ect.

Okay

For my 2nd review it's the film film 'From Hell'

It's to do with Jack The Ripper from London of 1888 & basically young prostitutes are being killed by having their throats slit & then having at least 1 organ removed by the murderer & it's the police's job to try & catch the killer, but they're having no luck

A fair amount of interesting theories are made in the film in regards to the killings & one of these being acover up by the royal family!

Definitely worth watching IF you like this sort of film &/or are interested in Jack The Ripper, naturally it's viloent in places, but cleverly done so you don't see the organ(s) being removed, judt hear the noises

The films are now ordered alphabetically. Up and Coming films, still being made, have there own forum.
