Stargate in Vic???

Does anyone have an idea on when Stargate is coming back to Victoria and any other state that doesn't have it?
I was really looking forward to finishing season 4 by the end of the year .

Unfortunately, there's been no indication when we're getting
SG-1 back here....but a friend of mine supposedly saw an ad that said it was "coming soon". I assume they'll wait until the football season is over and show double episodes, with numerous interruptions from week to week (remember last year?? Any excuse NOT to show Stargate - at least make up for it if your going to replace it with tennis! YUK!!).

All other states, except Tassie (I think) have continued showing eps, although Adelaide is still in S4. Maybe they'll replace JAG with SG-1 when that finishes?

For myself, I got extremely fed up, and couldn't wait....so I bought new eps from O/S

Hope this sheds a little light (but not much, unfortunately)

Thanks for the info. I hope they do show double episodes when they get around to airing them.

I have been downloading all the episodes but they just don't compare with episodes on Tv. Thanks for the links anyway.

Yeah, life sucks, doesn't it? Strange as it may sound, I actually want to see the second season of Dark Angel more (I've already seen up to the end of S5 of SG-1). Shaun, did you once say you downloaded DA? I'd be happy to pay for the postage if you sent some eps on a disk.

Not that it worries me none.....I'm waiting for a nice package in the mail this week (S5, eps 17-20)......besides I get really bad reception on C7 where I live......must be the only place in Oz where channel 2's reception is better!!!!!

btw Raptor.....caught the season opener of Dark Angel a few weeks ago.....first episode I've ever watched, and I must say I'm impressed.....but I keep forgetting to set the VCR!!!!

No, not the only place. My reception sucks, and I'm always looking for people with tapes of Stargate/Dark Angel/Farscape. Know where I could find any?

Howdy right back at ya!!!

I got my vid's from the UK....which works out a little bit dearer than if bought in Oz. I haven't seen Dark Angel videos yet, but Farscape is available. http://www.blackstar.co.uk has the full set of SG-1 videos, and Farscape. They'll even search for discontinued videos. You need to purchase the PAL video format, 'cos the DVD's don't work in our region......some S4 DVD's are out now....I bought two from Kmart....great special features........but already had one of the bonuses on the 100th episode special edition DVD.

Dare I suggest "dubbing" them or how about a STARGATE-A-THON?? At least they're cheaper!!!
