What is everyone's favorite part or parts of Return of the Jedi?

When Leia takes off her bounty hunter helmet. The battle on and around Jabba's barge...
No part featuring Ewoks

The speeder chase was my favourite part when I was younger - I used to watch that scene again and again!

My favorite part is the part when Luke is on the plank and then jumps and ricochets back and R2 throws him his light saber. Then the fight scene that ensues is great. Luke really shows off his Jedi training in this scene. I always hated it that Han was blind and could not see how much the "kid" as he called Luke, in action.

When Darth Vader gets out of the shuttle craft and says "You may dispense with the pleasantries Commander- I'm here to put you back on schedule" and the conversation ends with "I hope so, for your sake Commander- The Emperor is not as forgiving as I". I loved this part way back in 1983 because the last I saw of Vader was in TESB when he was offing people like Captain Needa in every other scene in the movie-forgiving, indeed!

Sorry, but I think the 'sail barge' and the 'Ewok battle' scenes were too unoriginal, though well filmed.

The sandworm-like creature is from the 'Dune' books, for the 'Ewoks' you can take your pick from 'Swiss Family Robinson', 'Tarzan' or pirate films.

I used to like the speeder chases, and I used to like the Han not knowing Luke was Leia's brother scenes.

But, I would have to go for the Emperor-Vader-Luke scenes, even though they were a little corny too.

I liked the speeder bike chase best I think althought the fight with Vader and the Emperor was a close second.

Now, come on, folks - wake up and smell the coffee! The fleet attack on the Death Star remains the best space battle ever seen on film.

I, Brian definetly is right, the whole space battle was the best i have ever seen in any movie. I love it, its enough for me to cancel out how dumb the Ewoks winning the battle on the planet is

My favourite part in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of The Jedi is the Battle of Endor and the lightsaber fight betwen Darth Vader and Luke, that was kick ass.

I'd have to go with the sailbarge stuff, and the "not a scratch" scene between lando and han.

Well the Jabba palace scenes had top of the line make up and creature effects in their day and I used to love them.

The Sarlac battle was good because we had never seen a jedi in full swing before (or what we thought was full swing- until Maul and OB1 in Phantom)

But of course, I'd have to go for the final space battle scenes. Even when I watch them now, they look more realistic than todays computer generated imitations.

LANDO: (desperately) Yes! I said closer! Move as close as you can and engage those Star Destroyers at point- blank range.
ACKBAR: At that close range, we won't last long against those Star Destroyers.
LANDO: We'll last longer then we will against that Death Star...and we might just take a few of them with us.
