I have only managed 6 of those, which is a little disappointing. Though I have read some more of the Short-Stories, Novelettes and Novellas. More worrying is the fact that we don't yet have forums for many of those authors.

Snap! I managed six as well.

Rule of thumb, I try to avoid books that scream Award Winner. Whoever gives the rewards, invariably has a totally different ideas/mentality to me as to what makes them good.

We do have the forums for most, even the older ones.

What we haven't got is a fistful of people who have read those authors?:(

I'm still going through the list trying to find works I have read.

I've read two of the winners (1984 & 88) which is a little surprising for me. I didn't even know they won before I read them.

I have read six, some of which are the Heinlein ones - just started a thread about Starship Troopers and would like to chat with anyone about it.

Still, I don't think six is that bad considering there were quite a few in there I hadn't even heard of. Just think how many books you have read that aren't on that list - makes me feel better anyway.

Yep. The Big 3:- Asimov, Heinlien and Clarke were in my list of reads.

Now I've seen the film, I might go and have a look at the Harry Potter

The Man in the High Castle
Ringworld
Neuromancer
Ender's Game
Speaker For the Dead
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Those are the ones that I've read. I have read some Heinlein and Azimov, and a lot of Clarke, just not those books. I've even read some Leiber. I must read more Heinlein, and I've been meaning to read the Forever War series sometime.

I have read:
Starship Troopers
Stranger in a Strange Land (currently re-reading this)
The Man in the High Castle
Green Mars
Blue Mars
Ringworld
I have Ender's Game sitting at home somewhere gathering dust, but I haven't got around to it yet.
