Spoiler Poll! Who do you think will...?

If you are reading this, you have probably already read the potential spoilers I posted in the Angel Season Four Spoilers and Speculation Thread, you should probably go have a look before reading on.....


So basically, one of the rumours is: A season three series regular is to die at the hands of a newly introduced character, electricity lass Gwen Raider. Of course this has not been confirmed, it is very possibly WRONG or leaked on purpose to throw us, but hey, it can't hurt to speculate

The first problem is what the rumour poster means by a "season three series regular" actually means. Does it imply a main (i.e. main credits) character? Or perhaps a recurring character? But then do you think they mean a recurring character that has appeared only in season three? Or someone has been around for even longer?
I would put money on Gavin Park - he was boring and didn't really do much other than get on Lilah's nerves, but then he did appear (very briefly) at the end of season two.

So what recurring characters were introduced in S3? Justine, Connor, W&H boss dude, that's all I can think of right now, but out of these three I can only imagine Justine being the one to bite the dust. After all, what effect would the death of the W&H boss dude have? Very little I think... I think Connor is going to be a main character this year, so I doubt very much if it could be him.

If they are talking about main characters, then, as some of you might guess, my vote would definitely go for Fred. Someone at AICN mentioned that Angel's Scoobies would be in big trouble with Fred gone - I think this could be one way of reconciling Wesley with the rest of the gang.

But just because I would like them to do away with Fred, it doesn't make it any more likely that she might be the one to go. What I am asking in this poll is who do you THINK might die? Not who would you LIKE to be offed.

There you go, that's my 2c. What do you guys reckon?

errr, I suppose I should have mentioned this, but I voted for Gavin - we know him just well enough for his death to be a shock.
I think Justine will be knocked off this season, but not for a while yet - I can see Connor doing her in when he finds out the truth about Holtz's death.

ps - Angel mods, maybe Groo should be in there too....

I dunno who I want gone -

I kinda like Gavin, so I'd like him to stick around, but Connor, Groo, or Fred could go and i wouldn't shed too many tears --

Not that I really want any characters dead -- just gone ---

but Joss has this weird knack for knocking off the right character at the right time -- ie: he puts the character's death in just the right period on the timeline --- not that anyone LIKES the character's death - it's just good timing -----

You bring up a good point there - as much as I loved Doyle, his death was great for the storyline. I would (I think) say the same for Joyce's death on Buffy. Thinking about it from that perspective I am not sure who would die - I still doubt if it would be a main character, maybe Gavin isn't major enough, Lilah would be a good candidate if she weren't the only interesting thing left about W&H. Lorne - oh, they wouldn't kill him, would they?

In this context, I think perhaps Groo... There were the rumours flying at the end of season three that he would be offed, but I can imagine him dying during some crazy scheme to get Cordy back - the grief/guilt might be enough to keep her and Angel apart a while longer.

I think Justine will definitely get offed this season, but I reckon they will drag her story out a bit longer than the first episode. I think that someone else is going to die right at the beginning of the season, but I feel like it could almost be anyone....

as much as I'd like it to be Lilah so it will get her away from Wesley I'm gonna have to say Justine...and good riddence
