1.06: The Bag.

Jeremiah and Kurdy encounter an imposter who attempts to pass himself off as a doctor. The doctor, played by Christian Campbell, gets entangled in his own web of deceit when he is called upon to deliver a child being born to a very sick woman.
Meanwhile, someone is conducting deadly experiments on children in a reckless effort to find a vaccine for the Big Death.

This one was very good. I love how Jeremiah make Reese search for his knowledge inside him when his bag was stolen. And how Reese later let the boy see him work as a doctor. Very touching that. Totally love Jeremiah and Kurdy's arguments with Jake, Reese's brother. The story about Holcomb and the vaccine was interesting.

Totally love Kurdy and the puppie :kisses:

Feh, mildly entertaining episode. Good for more backstory on Jeremiah. I liked the Doctor and his problems, but the situation seemed incredibly unlikely. I don't know why, but I just can't get myself into this show at all. I think if I had it on DVD and could watch the entire season back to back it would be a satisfying experience, but the story is taking so long to draw out, and without much development happening with the characters inbetween (lots of one-ep characters who fade in and fade out) I am having trouble keeping my interest up.

Sorry to sound so negative, but in the back of my head I am thinking of all the great shows that have been cancelled recently, and am just very disappointed that this one isn't living up to my expectations at all.

Having said that - Luke Perry has been rather underrated as an actor, he is a lot better than I remember from 90210!

I disagree. This is finally beginning to improve. This week, only some of the people were homicidal maniacs, the women do get pregnant, there is an explanation of where the fuel has come from, and of the doctors too. And we learn the back-story behind the death of Jeremiah’s brother. And that someone has a 'Big Death' vaccine.

Sorry to hear is not atracting you Tabitha.
The thing about Jeremiah is that is a slow
drawn story approach. So in that matter you have to hang in there. I only could say to you that is really worthy, for me and people I know enjoy it is. I think you wouldn't be dissapointed at the end of the season. Because it gets better and better and the season finale totally rocked. They throw you hints in the episodes and the big curve at the end. So I hope you still try it. :D

I will see what I can do! I want to like it, but it just hasn't insinuated itself into my tv schedule very successfully yet :(

I will keep watching, and you never know, I might be totally converted by the end of season one...

Well, hope so, there are good things coming yet. ;)
