Directed by: Peter Deluise

Jeremiah discovers and takes into custody a man in a bio-harzard suit who at middle age, obviously survived the Big Death. The man named Quantrell is from the mysterious Valhalla Sector and furthermore, knew Jeremiah's father. When a military team from Valhalla Sector approaches Thunder Mountain, Markus and Jeremiah go head-to-head over whether to free Quantrell or face the wrath of his military allies. Special guest star Michael Rooker (Tombstone, Cliffhanger, The Bone Collector).

Another totally awesome, D'Bomb episode. The word for it is Wow! Love it, this is one of my favorites. What make this episode so great that we know more about Valhalla Sector and Thunder Mountain. This is full of action, intrigue and everything that keeps one watching with intensity.

For me personally also was great because we knows Markus story. The story of his parents was very touching. How his father simply prefer to die with his mother because as he says to Markus no one should die alone.

All the story about Quantrell and Valhalla Sector, his conversation with Markus was totally wow! Love it, because we see the past of Thunder Mountain and how the Big Death enter it.

This episode also brings some interesting questions. Like why the choppers of Valhalla Sector stop after Quantrell was dead? Is obvious with the time that Quantrell was prisoner he could tell the Thunder Mountain much about them. Also we learn that Ezequiel have something to do with Valhalla Sector and is Lee Chen an infiltrate of the Valhalla Sector? He was the one that help Ezequiel enter the place to kill Quantrell. Another interesting note was when Ezequiel tells Quantrell, my fathers say hello. Interesting.

Seeing it a second time, I have to say I love this episode. :D I think I will never get tired to see this. All the Quantrell conversation and story. And love Markus and Jeremiah discussion, also love Markus in a killing path. Definitely a great episode for Markus character. ;)

I agree with Krystal, the best episode for detail on Thunder Mountain, Vahalla Sector, the 'Big Death' itself, and some new twists to characters.

We don't need spoilers if it concerns this episode. You shouldn't read this if you haven't watched it yet.

Big Death A virus, spread by skin contact. Stage 2 leads to periodic blackouts and demensia.

I never liked Lee Chen, but I didn't think he would be a spy.

Ezekiel Help me out with this one please!

Ezekiel - He can't be a vision or halucination. He must be a real man, otherwise he couldn't flick the switches to kill Major Quantrell. So how does he disappear? Some kind of personal cloaking device? And why is he not affected by the disease?

The helicopters turned back as soon as Ezekiel murdered Major Quantrell because he signal stopped. Does Ezekiel work for Vahalla Sector too? If so why not rescue Quantrell? Why kill him?

Why does no one at Thunder Mountain wonder who killed Quantrell?

Lee Chen is in league with Ezekiel, so is he also working for Vahalla Sector, or as seems likely, are they in contact, but working separately?

Why didn't the helicopters just carry on and bomb Thunder Mountain anyway?

How can Ezekiel have two fathers? How can he be Jeremiah's brother, but not his real brother? Why does everyone have Biblical names?

As for Lee Chen, I always have my doubts about him from the beginning. He always looks like he have something under his sleeve. The one thing that stop me some time from think of him as the leak is his concern about Markus and that it was too obvious is he was the leak. So at times I think he's working against the Thunder Mountain group and at others I think he's trying to protect them in his own way. So let me know your thoughs on this as the Season continue. I haven't make my mind, his character is a true dilemma.

Ezekiel Help me out with this one please!

As for Ezekiel, he's a man. Well, as for why he's not affected by the disease is because he's not old, you're see more of Ezekiel story as the Season progress. He's one of the most interesting characters in Jeremiah. As for his dissapearances, the answer will be a less dramatic one, his fast and probably he knows his way around. I think is hollywood effects to make the character more mysterious.

Well, part of this would be answer when we know more of Ezequiel. As for why not rescued Quantrell, at the moment I see it also strange but I suppose it was because they want to get rid of him.

Why does no one at Thunder Mountain wonder who killed Quantrell?

That is a good question, I haven't though about it but I totally agree someone have to ask how that happen and think harder about security in the base.

As for Lee Chen probably you will see more about all that as the Season progress, let me know your thoughs about him. As I say before he's a dilemma.

I also wonder why the helicopters doesn't continue and attack Thunder Mountain. Is obvious the Thunder Mountain group knows more about them, because all the information they could get of Quantrell. So I assume this is another tactic to continue the story of Valhalla Sector and Thunder Mountain. Since in terms of armament and resources Valhalla Sector is much more prepare than the Thunder group and much more organized.

As for Ezequiel and his two fathers that would be answer as the Season continues, also his relationship to Jeremiah. But that same questions pop in my mind when he says that words in this episode.

As for the biblical names, beat me, I don't have any idea is this have some purpose or the writers like to take names from the bible. :D

Well, this is for me personally the first arc episode of Jeremiah. Because I see it like the one that brough more info on the story. For me it always going to be the favorite one but I have to admit that there are some huge ones after it. I love the arc episodes because we see the main story progress in it and things from other episodes get explain. :D
