YAAY! Comics!!!

I really want to say Batman.... But over the last year I have been quite obsessed with "Preacher" and "Transmetropolitan". Spider Jerusalem has got to be the most lovable rogue ever committed to paper. And since I am Irish (and still in the vein of rogues) the Preacher's sometime companion Cassidy the vampire is a big fave. He is just such a git, it is hard not to love him :)

'X-Men' & 'Batman' are also good aswell, but not as good as 'Spiderman' though!
 
well... my fav char in canon comic books is the Green Latern. I mean, the dude can create whatever he wants from a green light! tell me that isnt cool.

but my favorite comic book character is the main character in a comic book called Johnny the Homicidal Maniac. hehe, Johnny C. is exactly what the title says. Well... lets just say the comic book shouldnt be for anyone under 17, just like this one called Battle Pope. these are both published comicbooks, and you can find JTHM in any hot topic store. Yea but, i like him because he is so torn up inside. he talks a lot about how horrible some people are, and wonders about the meaning of life. for a comic about killing people in a rage, its a whole lot more thoughtful than any except maybe spiderman or x-men :D

so i guess if you can handle the horror movies that have been coming out recently i would suggest going and finding this comic
 
Never heard of that particular one myself.
Not sure whether I want to watch out for it or not. Horror movies aren't really my thing, doubt if comics in the same vein would do it for me either.
 
yea JTHM is pretty gory :dead:
and so is battle pope... but I like both of them so *shrugs*
 
Ya have to wonder about the people that write bloody, gorey, wheres-the-trashcan-because-lunch-is-coming-back-up, comic books. But then again who am I to argue. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH(inhale) HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHa.

Look, I know about gory comics and believe-you-me, the people who draw those particular scenes have just got to be psychopathic maniacs that happened to escaped from some place like Bellview or some other mental hospital. I mean, how else would one know the details of what ones innards look like without first examining a real victim.. er,.. I mean dead body. My point is, it takes a pretty mentally sick person to appreciate this kind of drawing. That said, back to the point. The best comic book character of all time in ALL comic books, in my oppinion, is Spider-man.
 
lol, I resent the implication that I like that comic for the goryness or accurateness of the internal organs. Infact, that slightly disgusts me, but I like the philosophical musings of it all. Pretty interesting actually.

Though a lot of people do call me insane...
