I noticed a book in this series that looked interesting, Dimestore, but of course I needed to read book one first.

The first book in this series is called Bitten. Not normally the kind of story i am attracted to but i was pleasantly surprised :)

Has anyone else read any of the books in this series?

I think I've seen Bitten somewhere but haven't read it. From the title I'm assuming it is centered around vampires or the like. Is it? I've never enjoyed the Anne Rice type of vampire story. So far the only vampire centered stories I've liked are Chelsea Quinn Yarbro's. Other than the odd vampire character in other stories like those of Terry Pratchett and Robert Aspirin.

I haven't read this series yet rune but its on my list. I read a lot of vampire, lycanthrope, shapeshifter, etc fiction.

dwndrgn, I've been trying to get my hands on a copy of Yarbro's "Hotel Transylvania". Have you read it?

It's a werewolve story :)

I may have the chance to buy the current 4 books in this series in a sale :)

Has anyone else read all the books in the series -

Bitten
Stolen
Dime Store Magic
Industrial Magic

I've read all but Industrial Magic which hasn't yet been published. They were worth reading but they weren't books I'd read a second time(that's my highest compliment to a book).

If a book isnt good enough for me not to want to read it again it doesnt get to stay on my shelves :D

I've read Bitten of this series, got it from my local library and very much enjoyed it. So much so I want to add to my private library of select books :D . Just hoping the rest of the series is as good as the first book.

I recently read all her books and I have to say I am really impressed. I just wrote something about her in another thread. Off all the books I liked Bitten best, but that may just be because I like Elena. The other books with Paige and Lucas are very good too! Especially Industrial Magic. Kelley Armstrong knows how to create a world and make it actually sound convincing, even though it's not real.

I'll have to get around to reading book 2 to 4 soon :D I just have a few good ones on my shelve at the moment and spoiled for choice.

I am quite interesting to see how the witch theme ones go as they sound quite interesting.

I've noticed a new book out by Armstrong later this year. Haunted. It's a standalone book, not part of her series. Anyone got any info about it :)

I've read Dime Store Magic recently and now half way through Industrial Magic. I was wary as to how the witch and magical theme would progress after the hard hitting action of the werewolves. But I've been pleasently surprised and very much enjoying Paige's character and the Cabel families :D

For those who have read the books in this series so far which elements do you like the best?

Do you prefer the werewolve characters or
Do you prefer the witch and sorcerer angle

It's about the mother of Elena and her quest to recapture a minor deamon that has escaped from Hell, should she suceed in this task she gets to talk to her daughter.

It may actually be the childs mother, I forget

I think it is about Eve, the young witches Mum :D I will give it a go, despite the fact I miss not reading about Elena and not Paige :)

Ive got my copy of Broken, hot of the press this week :D Really looking forward to reading this book.

Goody!

Amazon just delivered Broken to my door. But I have to read several other books first. (Anticipation is fun, right?)

If you go to her webpage, she has stories from Clayton's early years and how he became a werewolf. She's got another story going, says it will go on to the end of this year, so it's like a novel. Free Reading!!!
