what did you think of it? i liked it. its very near the top of carpenter's films but not number one...close though...

I liked it, I think it was the first of his films I saw, I hadn't seen 'Dark Star' then, and he hadn't yet made 'The Thing'.

The atmosphere that he builds up is incredible, then when it's all over and the sun dawns in the morning, it's as if nothing ever happened.

If this is only your second favourite film, which is your top movie?
