I haven't hear anything about it since that announcement, is I read anything about Jeremiah in the UK from other forums I would let you all know. Hope you get it soon. I know that Canada, France and New Zealand already have it.

Not sure how authoritative this poster is, but he pinned down a date and that has cheered me up

Grr its on Sky One already? Only reason i heard about this show at all was because i read the thread in the announcements.

I havent actually seen this advertised on Sky One, so is it any good?

You only missed the long pilot, shown over the last two mondays. It is on quite late - last week it was on at 10pm, this week at 11. I missed the first ep myself, and while I think it shows a lot of promise, I certainly wasn't anywhere near as wowed by it as I was by Odyssey 5. I think it has a lot of potential, and has already got good Showtime ratings and a second season.

Keep an eye out next monday Sammy.

I agree with Tabitha, it's not a patch on 'Odyssey 5', but it could improve. Krystal and Gemsong say to keep with it. Out of 'Firefly', 'Odyssey 5' and 'Jeremiah', only 'Jeremiah' has definitely been given a second season by TPTB.

I'm not sure why Sky One have hidden it. Starting it in the weeks before Christmas to begin with, then giving it three different times in three weeks: 10 p.m., 11 p.m. and 10.50 p.m. next week. If it is popular on Sky One, it will have little to do with their programming.

That is strange that the times keep changing - I assumed the change was just a one off. Obviously not.
I was chatting with someone recently about how odd it was that on Showtime Jeremiah seemed to have been such a sure fire hit, but Odyssey 5 wasn't so stellar, and it was suggested that perhaps the mere presence of former teen idol Luke Perry had something to do with its success, whereas O5 only had crumbly old Peter Weller to offer on the star stakes... This could be a factor, but then it is interesting that Sky haven't been airing the show at a more swoonsome ( ) 8 or 9 pm. Okay okay, the bad language is obviously the reason for not showing at 8, but 9 would make a lot of sense.

Like you Dave, I do get the impression that Sky are treating this like a bit of a schedule filler. Odd

They did promote it quite a lot though - I remember seeing quite a few ads during other sf shows on Sky over the last month or so.

They say it is on late because of the violence and sexual content, but that doesn't explain changing the times.

'Odyssey 5' is earlier, but only has bad language.

Actually, the 'Odyssey 5' language seems natural to me, where as the sex and violence in 'Jeremiah' does not.
