I've was told that on kazza there is a film called " call it a stargate "

i'm downloading it now, but i was told it was not made by MGM, and might be put on the last DVD as extra.

anyone heard of it. ?

Nope and I'd be a bit weary of it if you have found it on Kazaa, you never know what it could be ;)

thanks

Good point, i'll transfer it to my old computer before opening it.

i'll let you know what it is.
thanks once again.

Interesting...

Keep us informed, Lincon.

Wow, i've just watched it......

i must say i am a huge fan, and wsa really hurt when D.jackson left....

this is a comedy version, it does not have the real actors, ( it's a bit like top gun being taken of by hot shots )

Not as silly as hot shots, but very funny, i won't spoil it, and have no idea who made it. ( the copy is perfect maybe from a dvd or original and has been zipped as an mpg so i saw perfect quality, but it took a little while to download but well worth it. )

anyway they have a D.Jackson in it, so it made me happy, and even the sg1 badge on the sleave.
the story is similar to a episode ( but this goes further de-evolving )
I hope they do put this on the last DVD as an extra.

so i guess the answer is yes, great fun but not with the real cast.
i'll leave it on my kazza, so there is more of a chance of you downloading it if you want.

In purely legal terms, the "film" is probably breaching copyright on the use of SG-1, and perhaps certain content too.

I would be VERY surprised if MGM (not noted for their sense of corporate humour?) were to condone the piece by including it on a DVD....

is it a wmv or avi file?
I can only view wmv cos I'm missing relevant files need to see the avi version.

viewer

I've found a piece of freeware called "The Player" great for avi's. Good DviX tech.
