Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents

Anyone read this?

I was trying to get my daughter to read it, would she like it?

It has just been awarded the Carnagie Medal for the best chlidrens book of 2001.

Did you know he is now Britain's Best Selling 'Living' author?

The head of the panel of judges, Kate Usher, said that it was "a brilliant twist on the tale of the Pied Piper, that is funny and irreverent, but also dark and subversive."

I loved this. I bought and read it as part of the Diskworld stories bwcause it fits in but off to the side a bit. It's a great book with plenty of funny bits and some scarier bits for the young'uns

Yes it's an excellent book and I would highly recommend it for both children and adults as well as the whole Discworld series.
