chat room ?

I asked this over on the general board but no one seemed to know. I keep hearing mentions of chat, and I know there used to be an ascifi chat room. But I dunno where the chat room is? Do you have stargate or general sci fi chats at all, and where is it you go?

first of all download IRC at www.mirc.com choose the one for your country (should only be 4000 bytes)
then when its done, open it up and you'll see a toolbar at the top. click on the 3rd from left icon, a yellow folder, which will give u the channel options.
choose Quakenet:Random UK Server
type in ur email address and ur ascifi name, so we know who u r
then click on Connect to IRC Server.
then click on the folder icon again and choose #Ascifi. if its not there then type it in and press add.
then type in #Ascifi again (not case sensitive) and the password.
Sammy O'Neill and sweetbabe want to keep the password private so u will have to PM or email one of us three to get it.

hope u can join us in chat. i guided two people there yesterday so my instructions shouldnt be too hard to follow
