The reading that i have done shows that the P90 is the better... it has some really kick ass specs!

Note: The Herstal FN P-90 ( Fabrique Nationale ) (Belgium) Is currently the favoured weapon of SG-1,It is a compact Submachine Gun with a surprising punch. Originally Designed as a Personal weapon for Tank crews or Command Bunker crews it has found favour with Special and Elite units across the world due to the ease of use reliability and power of its newly designed cartridge ( a cross between a rifle and pistol round ). Designed in 1990 the P-90 came into full production in 1992.
A compact weapon the P-90 measures just 50 cm long and 28 cm high (with magazine), weighs 2.5 kg empty and 3.0 kg with a full clip, It has a ambidextrous selector with three positions, Safe , Burst and Automatic, set on the Burst facility the weapon will deliver the usual 3 round burst, because of the new more compact cartridge the weapon boasts a 50 round magazine capacity.
The P-90 uses a 5.7 x 28 mm round ( ballistic and sub-ballistic ) with a rate of fire of 900 rpm, it will Penetrate a Nato or American ( PASGT ) helmet at 150 metres, a flak jacket ( 48 layers of kevlar ) at 100 metres and Level 3 body Armour at 200 metres. The added reduction to the recoil ( about a third of a SMG 9mm parabellum round ) also adds to the desirability of the weapon.
A full range of accessories accompanies the P-90 A laser sight ( in red or infra red for use with night sights ) which tucks under the flash suppressor with no loss of balance and is activated by a pressure switch on the pistol grip, this has three modes,safe, training mode, combat mode (high power) the battery has a 50 hr life in combat mode , A unique lanyard with a quick release catch, a mounting for a "Maglite" torch and a Suppressor ( silencer ) by Gemtech, the SP90 is an innovative piece of Engineering it has the once only dreamed of ability to silence a fully automatic burst ( with a subsonic round ) coupled with a bi-lock mount it can be attached or released in 1.5 - 3.0 seconds."
