Doh. While merging 2 Monsters Inc threads an error happened which resulted in the 2 threads becoming invalid links and going missing .
So here is a new thread. I felt Dave's introduction was good so I've reused it to start the topic again.

Behind children's bedroom closet doors, is another world where monsters like Mike and Sulley work hard for their paycheck. This monster city depends on children's screams for power: It is their energy that makes lightbulbs glow and cars drive. Big companies like Monsters, Inc. collect the scream energy, and many monsters work there in shifts.
In these hard times, it is getting more difficult to scare the kids anymore, since they're so spoiled by television. There is an energy shortage in the monster world. Sulley, the number one frightener, one day accidentally lets a human child into the monster world. Since kids are supposed to be poisonous and carry loads of diseases, chaos reigns. One of the colorful groups of creatures is the yellow swat team. Their job is to protect the Metropolis of Monsters, Inc. from human contamination.
After Mike and Sulley discover that the girl they named Boo actually seems quite harmless, they decide to bring her back through her door into her room. But Boo's presence was more than just a mere accident, someone had been cheating, doing moonlight scaring. Now, Mike and Sulley have to face an enemy within their own ranks. In the meantime, they find that Boo's laughs hold more energy than her screams.
