In the Stargate movie, Daniel Jackson was played by James Spader.

James Spader was in a movie called Dream Lover

MS played Daniel Jackson in Stargate SG-1

if he had been cast in Dream Lover it would sort of be a full circle. somewhat.

Things don't seem to be going all that well for MS since he left SG-1.

I don't agree...I think nobody expected him to have his big Hollywood breakthrough...he did a couple of films, some TV series episodes and is now off to South Africa to do another movie...
I also heard he was auditioning for a movie with some big names...and the producers seem to have liked him...so let's keep our fingers crossed...
