Just a nice little bit of info to pass on..
Kevin Sorbo (Dylan Hunt) recently assured fans concerned about the show's lack of focus on the Andromeda crew as an ensemble.
"Certainly I care about my character, but I have a good camaraderie with the cast and they come and talk to me a lot about where they think their characters should go," Sorbo told Paul Spragg for Starburst Magazine.
"Everybody's got their own egos and everybody's got their own
concerns; it's hard to service six actors and my mantra from the
beginning has always been 'spread the wealth' in terms of storylines and plotlines," Sorbo continued.
"I still want to continue that because I think the show brings
something for all the viewers. They may be in love with Dylan Hunt or not, but they may love Trance so that's what you hope an ensemble cast brings, that, 'Yeah, I like him, but I like this person better;' you want to bring in a big variety of people who watch the show."
The actor addressed persistent rumblings that his former Hercules pal Bruce Campbell will appear in the show. "Bruce Campbell will come to guest star probably the end of Season Three; we're looking on a November/December thing for him," Sorbo said. Michael Hurst, who played Iolaus in Hercules appeared in last season's 'The Knight, Death and the Devil'.
There was good news for fans of the show, as Sorbo reiterated that he expects the series to continue for another two years at
least. "Unless we totally implode, we'll definitely go the five years
they signed me out for," he said. "I signed a five-year contract,
obviously the studio [has] the option to pick up each one. I think
the show's going great, we're on in over a hundred countries now, and it's doing very, very well."
Much more from Kevin Sorbo can be found in the full interview with the actor, available in Starbust Special #53 out now in the United Kingdom. Ordering details are available at the magazine web site.
