I bought Spawn the comic for the first three years or so; it's tangible proof that artists shouldn't be allowed write their own comics. Terrible, terrible stuff.
However, the cartoon based thereon was pretty good. I don't know whether Toddy had a hand in the scripting, but if he did he's got a talent for TV writing, but not comics.

Great artist, terrible writer. Terrible comic. Good cartoon. Bad films.

haha I dont think Toddy was around for the scripting...I think he basically just made sure it was still the Spawn he created and stayed out of it
