I've seen this before, but I've recently watched through this series and i was struck by how good this series actually was..
Even though this show is what? 16 years old, i didn't feel that it was dated at all. OK people have complained about the special effects, but i had no problem with them whatsoever. Infact, the bioships come out brilliantly IMO.
OK, Michael O'Hare was a bit wooden. But he protrayed a great character in Sinclair.
I was really impressed by how quickly the storylines for further seasons where laid down so neatly. (Obviously, i wouldn't know on my initial viewing what was coming.) I really enjoyed it, but it came with the sad tint of nostalgia. It's just a shame that we'll not see another series on our screens again.
I particularly enjoyed the chilling cruelty of the Dilgard Warmaster and her legacy in Deathwalker. They really should have made something of her and the Dilgar war. Pehaps in one of their TV movies.
I cannot wait to start watching series two.
