Funny fingers?

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed. When we first meet the Asgard in what...Fifth Race, they have 4 fingers on each hand but in S5 Hindal has a thumb too...one of those discontanuity issues?

Yup - I noticed that and wondered how a race had become so technically advanced without an opposable digit.

i thought they did have a thumb in the fifth race. it was just tucked into RDA's hand when they shook hands. or am i imagining things again?

when he holds up his hand with the little read glowing device to get the knowledge out of Jack's head, he only has 4 fingers. I though it looked very strange that's why the image stuck in my head & then wash shocked when they in later seasons had 5:alienooh:
