Romero talks about Land of The Dead, his upcoming instalment in the Dead series.
I, for one, am very excited about this. I'm just praying that Romero hasn't lost his feel for great characters and bitter humor that has been the hallmark of all the Dead movies.

Interesting idea, but why does it not surprise me that the execs at Fox wanted to call it Night Of The Living Dead? (probably the same bunch that wanted to make a sequel to the Godawful Titanic).

Fingers crossed that this one lives up to our hopes and expectations

That's the entire problem, Romero and others of his ilk want to make movies, the studios want to make franchises and licensable properties. Zom-burgers anyone?
