Dead System Lords & their Minions (spoilers possible)

For some reason last night I couldn't sleep and instead of counting sheep I tried to count dead Goa'uld -- not recommended for insomnia, as it turns out.

So trying to name the over-dressed, cliched villain with the episode of demise I came up with the following, but am hoping others can fill in the information I've missed.

Ra -- died in the film
Apophis -- died in "Enemies" (S5), but can we be sure? In what other eps did he die?
Hathor -- ep title & season?
Sokar -- "The Devil You Know" (S4?)
Chronos -- "Double Jeopardy"(S4)
Heru'ur -- ep title & season?
Marduk -- definitely dead in "The Tomb."(S5) Had he appeared in any previous eps?
Klo'rel? -- we don't know what becomes of him after he is removed from Ska'ra in "Pretense." (S4?)
Ba'al? -- might have been offed in "The Abyss" (S6) but this was left unstated.

Tanith -- the vile minion bought it in "48 Hours" (S5) "Its a Jaffa revenge thing."
Unas -- one in "Thor's Hammer" (S1) and another in "Demons" (S3? S4?)

There must be other vile minions I have overlooked and probably a few honchos. Nirti and Osiris are still out there, as I recall, and of course, Anubis.

BTW, I haven't seen all of S5 and have seen S6 as far as "Prometheus," and my memory is pretty fuzzy on S2-S3.

Anyway, its a start on an SG1 scorecard. :wave:

As far as I know just in 'Serpent's Song', but we knew Sokar would probably put him in the sarcophagus to torture him over and over again...at least that's what Martouf said.

I'm not sure, but did he appear after 'Secrets', season two? I thought he was introduced in 'Thor's Chariot' and came to steal Apophis' and Sha're's child in 'Secrets'. Not sure if we saw him in season three or four, sorry.

'Demons' was season two I think.

Wow, great list you have there. Will try to think of more, but no one comes to mind right now, sorry.
 
spoilers (maybe)

Apophis supposedly died in Enemies when the ship crashed into the planet with the replicators in it (season 5)

Heru'ur died in The Serpents Venom, when Apophis shto his ship to smithereens in the mine field in space.....boom :D (season 4)

and one you forgot.... I know he wasn't a major system lord but....

Imhotep died in The Warrior when Teal'c killed him in Jo'no'se'que (sp?) (season 5)

everything else was right :D
 
I haven't seen The Warrior yet, but I'll be on the lookout for Imhotep.
 
u forgot Amaunet, Apothis's lover, who i think was killed in Forever in a day but im not sure
and i cant think of any others of the top of my head

ok i just remembered two more
u guys forgot Seth from the episode named SETH

adn then there was Bynarr who died in the Devil u know or Jolinars Memories, i cant remember

He was mentioned in Thor's Hammer, though. Kendra said that he raided a temple on her planet, as I recall.

Thanks, all. This is great. I'll start compiling the list, so we can keep score on who's best at offing Goa'uld (like we don't already know ;) )

OMG how could I forget them, I mean, I have a fish called Seth so I can't forget him.

Amaunet died in "Forever and a Day" when Teal'c shot her with a staff weapon (Season 3)
Bynar died in "Jolinars Memories" when he was shot in the back with a staff by Appophis (Season 4)
and I just remembered 2 more.
Tanith died in "48 Hours" whe his ship was fired upon by Teal'c and crashed into the planet (Season 5)

Oooh, wait! I remembered one more

:blush: Sorry for the double post, but I think Lord Zipacna must have gone the way of his ship in Pretense. S3 saw the end of many a valiantly evil System Lord.
 
ok i have a question now, who was the Goa'uld that recruited osiris, cause i was under the impression that was lord Zipacna. am i wrong? :rolly2:

and i just remembered another, the Goa'uld that tortured Teal'c in Serpents Venom, i dont know his name but i think he blew up with Her'urs ship

Yup - I'm fairly sure he was still alive in "Summit"/"Last Stand"
 
Well, Oriris was actually made an underling of Anubis, but Zipacna was the one who made the offer... it wasn't really him then but it sort of was...
Anubis recruited Osiris through Zipacna. There.

I haven't seen all of S5 yet -- we're up to "Desperate Measures." So there's some events that haven't happened for me -- and yet they have because I've seen all of S6 so far.

Lost in the time warp again. :D

Updates to the list:
I just got to see S5 "Summit/Last Stand" which added a number of Goa'uld to the pantheon, while mentioning that Sobek was offed by Kali and Bastet. Not sure what the ancient Celts would have made of Morrigan's outfit, but hell, she's goddess she can wear whatever she likes, right? Zipacna is definitely still out there, as is Osiris. Got the impression that Anubis was not Mr. Popularity at the Goa'uld Country Club.
