Ok, I'm a fair guy, so I decided to give this show another shot. I figure...I haven't watched in a few weeks, since the first ep, and maybe it's turned into something better in that time.

Instead, what I get is the tired old "character adopts a pet who wrecks everything, but saves the day in the end" story that every show has done at least once. If that wasn't enough, for some reason or another, the animators seem to have decided that every gate on every world has an iris built in, which is controlled by the DHD :evil:
This led me to think about all the technology on this show. Iris' that shouldn't be there...stalf weapons that look like they're made of plastic, and are apairently so week that their shots bounce off stone...ships that are nothing but one Goa'uld mothership stuck to the bottom of another...oh boy...
