I have found one good thing about this series

That's right, I have something positive to say about this series...well, not the series exactly, but close enough. I've made my case that this show was visually designed so that toys could be made based on it...well, one of those toys is bound to be some sort of Stargate(or SGC)playset. This will probably be our best chance of getting a reasonably good, relatively non-costly model/toy of the gate...something that I really want for my desk.

My dream toy...a small flat outdoor land-surface with a gate/stairs off to one side, and a DHD a few inches away from it. When you press down on the orange globe in the center of the DHD, earth's DHD symbols light up, as do teh gate chevrons, and the inner wheel spins slowly for a few seconds.

Have you seen their Gate and DHD?
They're completely wrong!!
The gate is way too thick. And the DHD is a plant-like thing that you have to spin the inner and outer rings in some nonsensical way to dial. If you want a Stargate, I'm afraid you'll have to go for an expensive one. One that doesn't light up and make sounds etc.
Although, it does sound worthwhile. Maybe you could sggest it to one of those people who make Stargate merchandise.

At least they actually use their Stargate and visit other worlds, rather than sitting talking about it

Other than that, it has very few redeeming features.
