2.4 Red

In this epi its just like the movie when superman became evil,

it was kind of boring for me. Clark gets a class ring with red kryptonite which changes his personality (evil) and he runs amuck

gets to kiss Lana and breaks her heart, but don't count them out yet.

Pete and Mr. Kent save Clark and the day is saved.

Sorry for the short review I really was bored with this one, too predictable.
 
for me this one was disappointing. oh what lex could have done with clark in this one, but it never came to be.
 
I thought thiswas a pretty so - so episode - althought its the first time I've looked at our young Clark Kent and thought he had promise as a hottie - obviously the mean and broody looks and leather jacket and motorbike - he came over all James Dean on us didn't he ??

Bet Martha was ****ed off that Clark got the ride the bike before she did - she made some comment to Jonathan about wanting to be the first to try it out when it was done

So red kryptonite - my other half Dave who is a serious comic collector - Marvel etc - got straight on line afterwards cos he wanted to know the first time it was mentioned in the comics (its a 'comic book guy' thing apparently !

Can't remember the date but what it did say is that once exposed to red krytonite it has the weird effect on Superman, but that its a one time only deal - indicating that if he is exposed again it won't affect him....... so I guess that means they won't be able to use this plot line again !

Oh yeah - one thing - Jonathon Kent with his shirt of - Phwooar

It was used only once in the comics and the movie!!! It is really getting played out here!!!
 
I loved this ep, i was swooning over him the whole time (and i dig Lex usually, not Clark!) i just can't resist a man in a leather jacket. Oh and did anyone notice the cameo's in this ep - Narim from Stargate as the girl's father, and the daughter was on Roswell for a while as a Skin :)

I missed the first 10 minutes or something...why didn't Clark's parents want him getting a class ring?

And the kiss was so hot! I totally wasn't expecting it to just happen! I can't decide whether i ship for Clark and Chloe or Clark and Lana. *sigh* i'm beginning to lean towards the latter, but i still feel sorry for Chloe :)

I recognised Narim in this ep as well - he is one of those 'jobbing' sci fi genre actors isn't he - I'm sure I've seen him in something else as well


Anyway.....back to the krptonite - I was telling a mate of mine about this ep - he is not a Smallville fan but is a Tom Welling fan - it seems young Tom has a cult following in gay community - so after some thought he asks, so green kryptonite makes him weak and sick, red kryptonite makes him mean and moody, so I wonder what PINK kryptonite could do...........

Don't think the writers are gonna explore that particularly possibility now do you ???!!!!:rolly2:
 
When Jonathan smashed the ring with the sledgehammer, how come the metal disappeared after the rock was shattered? Sorry, i wasn't impressed with this episode, so i'm concentrating on the trivial things.

But I liked the leather jacket, very sexy!;)
 
maybe the krptonite when shattered breaks up the meatal!! I could probably add that to my blooper list.
