When all the ancient gods will be dead, it'll be time for SG-1 to kill new ones...

Ok, we had all sorts of old gods, gods that were massively worshiped in ancient civilizations, but now quite forgotten.
Our beloved SG team killed a lot of them, mostly major egyptian gods. But now, we know... we know that Stargate can't disappear. But what will happen when all these ol' gods will be dead ?

Stargate... forever... naaaaah ?
Well, we will need to wipe out other gods, new ones... new usurpers... new Goa'ulds.

But, somehow, I deeply doubt that we... will really need to use any stargate to find these new gods... and kick their butt.
Mohahahaha...

I mean, what would say an egyptian if he or she saw Stargate ?

Anyway... just midnight thoughts...

There are still a LOT of the smaller, lesser known gods, such as the middle American ones, and perhaps some early European and Asian ones, even Australia etc.

What they seem to be doing, in a typical TV way, is avouding controversy by using a god that is "current", i.e. one of today's religions which would no doubt cause great offence to those believers. They don't want to show Christ, or Buddha, or Allah, or Kali etc as a Goa'uld - very bad PR in this day of extreme Political Correctness.

while on the subject of bads guys, could someone help me out. ?
in my new stargate film, at the end we see this huge ship destroy a few asgaurd ships, and head to earth ( it's after anubis ) who is on earth, anyway the huge ship finds his ship and destroys it and then leaves earth.
anyone got any idea's what / who it could be ?

I haven't done the cg work yet, so if you think it should be another pyrimid ship then i could do that.

thanks for your time

A search through all of Earth's ancient religions should turn up more Goa'uld possibilities. Every pantheon has at least one bad guy, leading to conflict amongst the gods. For instance, the Asgard had Loki, who on SG1 could be one of Thor's race taken over by a Goa'uld.

I agree that SG1 could never use gods from current faiths, and even ancient religions still have their followers amongst the neo-pagans, so some sensitivity would have to be exercised.
