Hey I've posted this stupid thing about 3 times now and I wonder why I haven't gotten any responses. I'm able to answer pretty much more questions about strargate then the writers supposedly and I have offered to answer any questions any of you have. As fate would have it, I haven't gotten any responses to this. Not even a warm up test. Is there noone that has an impossible question for me?! BTW you can also check out my mod group's Elite Force Stargate conversions at www.wadesdomain.com but i dunno if the link will work right away as the server has been down for the week. Hopefully some of you will respond cuz i'm getting awfully bored with this section of the forum.

Not sure ...

Folks will hunt and find their own comfort levels in asking and answering questions about things. Perhaps the feel of your approach is uncomfortable for some. Toss out a couple of questions yourself and see what the response is. This forum has always been one of the quieter of the Stargate group.

The tricky bit for me, hitting this thread 2 posts in, is that it has clearly been moved from somewhere - and may have had a point in that original forum. But here, you are saying "I have asked three times" - but in THIS forum there is no sign of a question....

Do you want to re-ask here, since one of the moderators feels it is more appropriate to this forum?

... and since this is the Tech forum, you have more chances to get answers than anywhere else.

But err... does MICSG7 know that his or her thread was moved ?

Thread

If the post(s) was/were originally made in the general forum or the Stargate general forum, it may have been lost in the crowd - those places are busy.

you mean my post has been moved the past two time? where to?

Moved?

Jolinar, I didn't say it was moved, I said if it had been originally placed in another forums, say - the stargate general one - it *may* have been moved. I don't know for sure. There are many mods on this forum and we each have our own areas we watch over. Stargate itself has something like 3700 threads all going at once and there are at least 15 of us who mod the different areas, not counting the SuperMods and 'Gods' for the whole place.

I checked back over the last year in this forum - SG Tech - and found no other posts than the ones you started here recently. I will post the mods on the other areas to see if threads were started there.

perhaps if you actually asked a question we might be able to help you. Questions usually end in question marks rather than full stops and generally involve a request for us to reply with information. As a rule of etiquette it is good to be polite rather than commanding us to answer.

For what it's worth - I have no idea where you posted your questions, MICSG7. It wasn't over in SG General Discussion. I knew if I'd moved your thread to some other forum. So sorry, can't help on that one.

Why don't you repeat your questions?

no no no no no no no no no no. i am requesting people to ask me questions because of how much i know about the series almost for like nintendo with Ask Dan. i personally don't have any questions i want them.

Perhaps what you could do is close down this thread (and you can do it as originator - edit the first entry and there should be a "Delete" box at the top of the text box).

You could then create a new thread (e.g. entitled "I will answer all your SG-1 questions") with clearer wording, perhaps as follows:
"I have such an extensive knowledge of Stargate SG-1 that I believe I can answer ANY question that you pose. I am eager to be challenged - please ask me your hardest questions."

Please ask first

If someone wants to close down a thread, please ask one of the mods to do it. Since this is my forum, please ask me.

Thank you.

Rowan

Rowan, I think it would be easiest if you closed this thread.

MICSG7, there's a thread in Stargate General Discussion called 'Quiz'.
Members are asking questions and some of them are really hard. Why don't you take a look at it and try to re-vive it. It's been quiet for some time, but I'm sure we'd all have a lot of fun to post there again.
Actually, I'm going over there now and will try to think of some questions for you, okay?

Thanks, Summer.

And this thread is now closed. Please check out "Quiz" in Stargate General Discussion.
