does anyone know Edgiddings@quantumss.freeserve.co.uk

He runs this website

He's made some excellent computer graphics, such as Thor, glider ship, The gate and many others.

The reason why i ask is because he used to allow people to download them, but now he only lets people he knows download them, he says he won't read an email if it's from someone he doesn't know.

I making my 2nd ( non profit ) stargate film, with replicators and thor, but i don't have a 3D thor, he has :alienooh:

Just wondering if someone could ask him if i could use them for my film.

Yes, ( thanks for answering )

On his website it says he doesn't give out his models to people he don't know and won' reply to emails from people he don't know :(

His 3D models are really good, has anyone else made any stargate models ?

send your email to me, he often responds to my mail so can forward it on.

He may not grant permission to use his models though, not even I get those. But thinking on, I don't give mine away either :)

Just wondering what you do with your models when you make them ?


As you know I use mine in homemade films ( soon to be reviewed on www.sci-fi-online.co.uk and in total dvd magazine ( i know it's only a homemade film but those companies have watched it online and wanted me to send them DVD copies to give away in a competition.

If i had made models like yourself i would love to see it being used and getting it noticed. ( 'm the sort of person that pushes to go far )
And with your talents if your not in the 3D graphics industry ( pixar/ ilm etc) then you should be.......
 
My work is on show, at my website in the 3D Art section.

I'm not employed in a 3D Art Studio simply because my work isn't that good. I'm a fan with a computer with the right software to help me project my visions - but I'm no 3D Designer by a long shot. Ed Giddings on the other hand is a true professional when it comes to his models.

Ed used to give his models away but people find it all to easy to use the hard work of others to pass off as their own.

That's why my models aren't freely available and I guess it's the same reason for Ed.

I'm having to use a normal alien ( can't seem to make his head right )

Anyway if anyone does want to allow me to use any stargate models that would be great.

they are giving away 5 DVD copies of the film ( i still have not made any money from this )
and they will send along a photographer while we are filming the secound film ( due out end of December )
Also ( In England ) The biggest high street DVD magazine also wants to review the DVD's

So i guess what i'm trying to say is i would gladly credit your work and websites.
