Old eppies again

No more new eppys. Well its the Hathor episode where they have to rescue SG-1 from the clutches of Hathor's SGC clone. (Into the Fire)

So i want to do a poll. Would you rather have new eppies (up to where they are in the US) or see the best of stargate? For example all the most exciting eppys and a few of the funny offtopic eps like "Urgo"

Um i'm not really sure how to make a poll but i'm going to try.

Im going with new eppys because i have all the others on video and dvd so i can watch them whenever.

It's unrealistic to expect chan 7 to show new eps all the time.
We've exited the ratings period, and now its time for them to feed the fanbase without spending resources.
We'll get the eps next year, and I for one don't mind waiting for them.

For now, I enjoy sitting down with my family and watching the old episodes as they're shown. The "watch at anytime" mentality of the DVDs detracts from them slightly (even though I have all 13 of them).
I would much rather watch a repeat shown on the telly then grab a DVD and watch it during the lunchbreak of the cricket for example.

But thats just me

I'm inclined the agree with you raty. It is silly to expect 7 to show new eps all the time. It would mean they have to spend a lot of extra cash and the MGM team (nearly said MSG team heh) have to work overtime with someone behind them with a whip.

However I'd much prefer new eppys to old really good eps. I haven't seen a lot of season 2 and 3 and a few of 4. I find they are suited to standing alone. That means there's no real plot behind them, at least not in the way season 5 and 6 are.

Season 5/6 plot sucks. I don't want space battles or government conspiricies. I watch star trek and x-files when i want those. It's not stargate.
The first 3 seasons were PURE stargate = the best stargate.

But again, thats just me

Well it seems Ch. 7 are going with new episodes in the meantime... how does Sat. at 8.30 sound guys?

i think channel 7 have done a very good job this year, 26 all new episodes and now a summer of repeats, this is more than most shows usually get! so im easy what they show over summer!

Well - I like new eppys but then I have seen a fair few of untelevised season six. Also, I have missed out on two or three episodes of season three, including Urgo! Don't start guys I copped it enough at the convention..hehe.

So I am happy that they are showing season three repeats over the non-ratings period....Except NOT ON SATURDAYS I HAVE TO WORK ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

I've seen one "Adventure Saturday" ad, but it wasnt for stargate. It was still very bad tho
