William Shatner Online Chat

I have to say that your interview is far better than mine. They didn't ask him any searching questions and nothing that I hadn't heard asked before. I was disappointed, because he had already been interviewed live on TV before it moved to an online chat, and they only used about 5 of the hundreds of emails.

He did say that the DVD of Star Trek V will not be a Director's Cut. He said that Paramount wouldn't allow him to add any extra special effects or film any new sequences. (Maybe they don't like throwing good money after bad!)

Mostly, he just plugged the Exhibition again. I hope he was paid well, because he certainly did the job he was meant to.

"throwing good money after bad"
*snort*

Poor bill :(

The thing that most amazed me about the slashdot interview was the great questions. Geeks rule :p

Don't know if I am going to get down to that exhibition - have you gone yet?

I think it only starts this week, hence the promotion of it. I'm too busy before Christmas, but I will try to in January.

It's a strange time to hold it. Summer would get all the tourists in too. Also it's in a tent, and the long range weather forecast is for some fairly severe weather in the next few weeks.

Doesn't London get a lot of tourists over the Xmas period? I know Edinburgh certainly does. But still, the whole outdoors in the depths of winter thing does seem a bit ill-advised. Obviously they are counting on die-hard trekkies to be impervious to the weather.
