Okay, the subject says it all really - ignoring the extras, purely for Season1, is there any difference in the programme content of the episodes between Region1 and Region 2 box-sets? What about subtitles/languages?

[Basically I have R1 imported, from long before R2 was available, but if there is a physical difference I may consider swapping.]

The problem is, I don't know what I can compare for you mate (Hard for me to juxtapose when I've only seen one of the sources ;) ) I've never seen the R1 boxset, I have R2, so I'd be happy to help you, but I don't what to tell you, lol

The menu's are are 3D, a bit like the gate room, but it looks more like a warehouse, where you move through until you reach a computer panel which has all the options on it, when you seleect one you move toward the Stargate and pass through it. All the Episode options are then layed-out in what resembles an archaeological dig on presumably another planet. Nothing to 'out there' let me assure you.

The episodes are in widescreen, and in opinion look and sound great, much better then on TV.

They are uncut, so everything that would make COFTG an 18 is there and maybe some other scenes in other episodes but I haven't noticed them.

Anything you want to know fire away and I'll see what I can tell you..

I've seen in another thread people say (in fact, I think one of them was me  ) that there are no extras - the ones that appear in the individual R2 volumes - is that true?

What about audio and subtitles?

Audio and subtitle options are there. Yes, I forgot to mention that there are no extras with the boxset, which is dissapointing, hopefully they will include some with S2..

This is like drawing teeth... ;)
Which languages are available on audio and subtitles?

I am exceedingly disappointed to say this information is INCORRECT, wrong, misleading, unsound, false, erroneous, fake, duplicitous, inaccurate, mistaken, faulty or indeed untrue - for the R2 SG-1 S1 boxset I have had delivered today.

There are NO AUDIO AND SUBTITLE OPTIONS on the REGION 2 version of SG-1 SERIES 1.

Sadly, this was the only reason I bought the R2 boxset, since I can play both, and already have French and English subtitles on the R1 boxset, but would have preferred English. I have no Spanish and only a little French. But, I wanted the words, for spellings of planets, people and Goa'uld stuff etc.

Sorry, I thought it did, my apologises for the mistakes.

Just goes to show that you should refer to more then source of information before making your mind up on something.

Again, sorry for the misleading information, I was pretty sure it had all of those extra bells and whistles.
