I think it was duokilla, invited posters to this section. I forget to roam the forums sometimes, forgetting this was here. Thought, "yeah... anime. I like that." So here I post and hello...

I was wondering if any of you could recommend any movies based on the following:

I Like:
Sci-fi-ish anime like Akira, Ghost in The Shell, and maybe Cowboy Bebop. I've also enjoyed some hard-core ninja-gore like Fist of the North Star and ... I forget the other title I've seen.

I Don't Like:
Terrible voice actors (even if some of the above are guilty), action scenes that consist of prolonged shots of a single frame of a character just hovering with the background blurring by, often accompanied by ridiculously long "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaoooooooooooooooooooooo"

Recommend something good, tell me I have terrible taste, I'm open.

Ya I sorta guessed that with your taste you would of had seen it already. Me and my wide range of manga and anime knowledge "yup" *folds arms and nods*

Ha! I haven't seen much at all, really. Just what my friends have introduced me to. What is Manga? I've heard of it but have no idea...

Well manga is the comic version of anime. Usually anime are based on maga. Like Akira.
