Ghost In the Shell (1996)

Anyone else seen this film? It's a classic...maybe not to the heights of Akria but a classic still.

I've seen it before I thought it was real good I'd give It 8/10. BTW you should post anything to do with anime in anime because I thought this was just for movies the were normal ya know with real people.

I posted here since I saw Akira in here too. But in future I'll post in the Anime section...I guess that would make more sense lol, but still, this is a film section and animated or not Anime movies are films.

Ghost In The Shell

Very beautiful art and moving dialogue. Some language and nudity, so perhaps not suitable for the youngest anime fans, but I can recommend this film to those who prefer less humour oriented, more serious anime. :smilej:

man I didnt like Ghost in the Shell that much.dont get me wrong it IS a very good movie but usually I LOVE anime movies

I didnt really like Ghost in the shell as much as I thought I would. It did have nice Animation,Good story line and the such but I found it hard to follow in some spots.perhpas that was just the dubbing and I'd like it more if I could find a subbed copy...

Not only is this a great movie, but it's got a fantastic soundtrack, too. It's got a great story, fantastic backgrounds... I've nothing bad to say about this whatsoever.

Cool fact of the day: it's being made into a TV series. The official web page is at http://www.production-ig.com/Ghost_TV.html ; the trailer's gone, though. I guess that at 40mb, their server couldn't handle the strain of all those people downloading it (including me, haha).

This movie was good 7/10 the first anima movie i ever rented

I didnt really like Ghost in the Shell.Its animation and stuff was good but I didnt like the actual plot.

i got that as a .avi file!!! luved the film, but thought it was a little strange....
is it only in Japanese? or is there a english vesion floating out there??

yea pilot candidate was pretty good. i liked how the dude's hair changed colors in one of the first few episodes.
