I picked it up today and it looks quite original and even more interesting.
It is a novel of corporate warfare and profiteering in the not-so corporate equivalent set in the early 21st century (though it still smells sci-fi).
All I can say after 20 pages, but judging from his other two novels, it will be quite a ride, despite the lack of our favourite protagonist, Takeshi Kovacs.
