A collected edition of this came my way as a birthday present, but it has taken a little time to actually get around to read it properly.

Writen in 1991 by British writer Dave Gibbons, penciled and inked by Andy and Adam Kubert (brothers?) as a three part serial, it is a good example of why Batman has always been a sound comic investment, being rather less fantastic in presentation than most.

Although some of the art is average, with one small exception, it always manages to compliment the text to explain the story often better than the films did. (The series one the Eisner Award for Inking in 1991, which perhaps shows all I know about art)

For anybody that has read this one, the place that got me confused was here:-
When Predator returned home from a hard day's hunting, Batman was hiding in his trailer. So far so good. 4 confused frames later, Batman releases an electro-magnet, burrying Predator and Batman is bleeding profusely. How?

Is this the one with the boxer at the begininng Ray?
If it is, its a good story.

It does indeed start with a pugilistic bout.

But the confused scene is still confused :(
