This was an awesome episode, I totally enjoy it. Dylan and Tyr were hilarious in this one. Love their interaction. We see again the new enemy, and wow, it definitely looks interesting. Every time I see a portal open and they coming I remember Wing Commander:prophecy (the computer game). It looks so familiar with the enemy in this game. This episode was very interesting, and was cool to see the slipfighters again. I totally find it cool. :D

Okay, it took me a few days to get over the disappointment of this episode.

The Good:

One thing that I definitely enjoyed was how this ep. showed Rommie's loyalty to her crew. Even when Dylan ordered her to stand down she refused for the better of the ship. That and seeing her kick some alien butt was nice!

The interaction between Rommie and Harper was great! Giving him the lie detector test, then letting him hug her! It was so cute!

Trance watching the exploding sun was interesting, another clue into her past.

Tyr had some good scenes in this ep. Although most of the time he was out of character. I liked the exchange between him and Harper about leaving Rommie behind.

The Bad:

The writing couldn't have been worse for this episode. It was like visiting Mad to the Saved all over again. To recap on one of the many stupid things the writers came up with:

"This is going to be a long day," Dylan after shooting at the opening in space.

What was the point of going off the Maru? Wasn't it Dylan who said in 'D Minus Zero' that information was a necessity? Yet here he goes off without any clue of what he's up against.

Once Tyr and Dylan land on the planet they walk around aimlessly and without raising their weapons! What was that all about? They're walking around all casual, not the least bit hurried when Rommie is in danger!? That makes no sense at all. Plus Tyr wouldn't have been that careless.

The aliens had no weapons! As I recall they had weapons in 'Tunnel at the End of Light' how ever could be wrong. Another thing was that they just stood there, like they were waiting for Dylan and Tyr to shoot them. It was like watching the red suits in Star Trek get picked off.

As usual this episode didn't use the extra crew members, and personal I think that was a mistake. If they were going to bring them onboard why the heck wouldn't Dylan use them when the ship is being invaded?

Trance, Harper, and Beka weren't keeping much of a watch on command. You would think knowing an invisible foe is around would make them watch their backs.

The Confusing (Things I didn't get) :

The Tunnel is opened again? How the heck did that happen?

As I remember Trance identified the aliens in 'Tunnel at the End of Light' as the ones that killed Dylan, well why did she act like she had never seen them in this episode?

What was Rommie's goal in walking off towards the whole in space and disobeying Dylan? If she wanted the aliens to take her then why did she fight them?

What was the point in rebuilding the Jaws of Life?

I don't know exactly how this is done but since it looks so similar as I say to the computer game maybe is the same logic. There the aliens were so advanced that they could make portals and open themself a tunel to come to the other side. Probably we have to wait to see some explanation of this as we learn more about the aliens.

I think Rommie was surprised that the aliens take her, she was confident that she could manage against them but they took her by surprise and get her. That is the reason why she fight them, she wasn't expecting to be taken prisoner and that was the reason she disobey Dylan, she think she could stop them.
