If you were stranded on a desert island and If you could take one SG-1 DVD which one whould it be?? the threads of fave ep seem to get people (like me) who canyt decide so here your choices are grouped in fours. No cheating - no boxsets! :D

my choice would be the s2 disc The Tok'ra Part II/Touchstone/A Matter of Time/The Fifth Race

The DVD wouldn't do much good without a DVD player and an outlet. :)Hm.. an outlet on a desert island..
I really don't know which one I'd choose. My favorite episodes are all spread out.

In addition to needing a desert island with a DVD player and a power source, a further problem is that in Region 1 only S1 and S2 have been released to DVD. Many of my favorites are in S4.

So does this desert island have a DVD/VCR combination and we can choose a tape? :D
 
well, um, does downloading count? burn your own DVD with the eps you want:D
 
Skoon's right -- all your favorites on just one disk. Take along a laptop with a solar-powered battery and any desert island can be made SG1 compatible. :rolly2:
 
If it had to be one disc that was for sale, then I would probably take the Best of Season One disc - I love the last few eps in S1, but I guess it would drive me crazy without being able to see the resolution in S2.

Perhaps as an alternative I would take the one with Window of Opportunity, not only is it a great ep, but the directors commentary is hilarious too!
 
for sale eh? Legitimate or pirited? I'm sure there's devious people out there selling them...I could purchase all my favourite eps ...illegally...it's still purchasing...:rolleyes:
 
If you had a PC, then they are often multi-region, so all you non-Europeans could still use all the Region2 DVDs to compile and burn your own four episodes on one disc.... That would be my plan - though I don't know what would be on it, apart from "Window of Opportunity". :D
 
we could just download them, doesn't matter that we only have S1 & S2 here. Anyhoo, if I was going the legal way & not jumping through loop holes I'd take the DVD either with Solitude S1 or Fifth Race S2...
 
I'd just make sure my 'desert' island was in receiving distance of Sky TV...and then take a satalite dish with me...:D
