Stargate FPS?

Hello!

I'm just new today, so I don't know if this has been asked before. Hope not, I like being original! :rolly2:

Anyway, does anyone her know of any PC or console games that are First-Person Shooters all about Stargate? I've been thinking about this, and if it's done right, it could be an absolutely class game! Think about it, You've so many locations, loads of weapons (Earth, Gou'ald, alright how do ya spell that properly!? even Tolan weapons etc.) and loads of options for a plotline, the show seems ready made for a game doesn't it?

Course if a games alreay been released, I hope someone will pass it onto me .

Hi, Belgarath, hope you have as much fun in ASciFi as I have learned to have :wave:

First off, I'm sorry but can't help much on the games... don't do much of them. My computer is too slow, or is it the mouse that's too slow, or maybe the finger is too slow? No..no..no... I know what it is, my brain is too slow .

Just wanted to let you know that by most my counts the correct spelling is Goa'uld... but I've seen it spelt several different ways and besides, are there any around to dispute you spelling of it?

I'm afriad there is no stargate FPS for any conolse or pc, i was thinking about this a while ago and also thought it was a cool idea, dunno if it will ever happen tho

by the way if there was one i doubt it would be any good coz most movie based games suck badly they would need a good games company to make it like, EA, konami etc.

Seems to be difficult to download it though, and it is a very old thread! From about a year and a half ago.

I'm surprised that there hasn't been several made. Something like the Star Trek game "Hidden Evil".

I've found out about another Stargate game just now actually, it was released around the same time as the movie for the Game Boy. Its a puzzle game, you have to do something with the Chevrons to get to the next level or something. Apparently it was quite good too!

Ah yes, but ID (amongst others) have written games which can be sufficiently adapted to allow FPS modifications for other worlds/scenarios. All you need is someone with sufficient skill to add/modify the skins, weapon rules, creature-AI, and (perhaps the easiest) the landscape.

What r u talking about, u calling medal of honour allied assult and medal of honour front line "middle of the road"? belive me they are some of the best fps's out there.

anyway there are many more games companys who could do it, but i chose EA coz they make most movie based games.
